Serial Port Switching (SPS)
Revo Technik is the world leader in performance engine management software for modern performance automobiles. Revo Technik performance engine management software is the first to offer serial port (OBDII) upload and performance mode Serial Port Switching (SPS) without removal of the factory installed ECU (engine control unit). Revo Technik’s leadership in this technology has established their place as a major provider to OEMs as well as tuners around the world. Revo Technik is headquartered in San Luis Obispo, CA with sales support and marketing offices in the United Kingdom supporting Europe, the Middle East, and Africa and in Hong Kong supporting the Asia Pacific market. Fast Upgrades without removal of the ECU
Revo Technik performance software can be uploaded in a matter of just a few minutes (~ 2-3 Min) to modern engine control units. Modern ECUs provide for flash upload or flash upgrade of software per industry standards as described in the OBDII (On Board Diagnostic) specification. Revo Technik software utilizes the same communications protocols as the original OEM software and maintains all the safety parameters such as knock sensing that is used by Porsche®. The ECU can be returned to stock software as quickly and easily as the original performance upgrade. Presence of performance tuning software cannot be detected by dealer diagnostic equipment.
SPS Switching Options
There are two optional SPS Modules that can be purchased to enhance the versatility of Revo Technik’s software for Porsche automobiles.
SPS 2 Switch between Stock, Performance at 91, 93, or 100 octane, plus anti-theft modes. The perfect accessory for those Track Day events!
SPS 3 All features of the SPS 2 plus variable boost and timing. This version should be used only in conjunction with data logging tools that will allow optimizing performance.
